Let us mail your grandma postcards
A personal, time-saving, and consistent way to stay in touch.
A week before my trip to visit my grandma, I realized that I didn’t have a Christmas present for her. Last year I got her a candle, which I admit is lame.
The next day, I was talking with my friends Ze’ev and Ben about a different project and joked about sending out new Instagram posts on postcards.
After a second, we realized two things: One: it would actually be a great gift for my grandma. Two: it shouldn’t be that hard to build. Four days later, the first version was born, just in time for my trip. Now we want to share it with you: getpostcards.co
How it works
You send us photos and a message, we print it on a postcard and mail it to someone important in your life. We offer yearly plans so you can send a postcard every other week, every month, or 4x/year.
Why it’s better than regular mail
More consistent
Everyone wants to send more mail, but it slips through the cracks. We email you reminders, and it just takes a few minutes to send us your photos and message.
More personal
It’s your photo instead of a random postcard. To me, this balances out the downside of it not being handwritten, although in my case it’s a pro because my handwriting is illegible.
Saves time and money
It costs less than a Hallmark card and includes postage. Plus it saves you a trip to the post office.
As a thank you for being part of our mailing list, use the code SNAILMAIL for 20% off. Make 2024 the year of consistency for someone you care about.
See you in 20-two dozen,
ABZ
P.S. Reply to this email with how we can improve it. Instagram integration, stamped return envelopes, custom card builder, or…?
